My philosophy after working for over 25 years in Sports Active Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Therapy areas is very simple; "Humans are Born to Move." Moving through full range of motion everyday keeps your muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints flexible and strong. Physical activity creates balance in the body, mind and spirit.
The body will become better at whatever you do or don't do. If you don't move, your body will become better at NOT MOVING. If you move, your body will allow more movement and better performance. REMEMBER, exercise is optional, MOVEMENT is not.
A substantial knowledge and experience in the area of physical health training and corrective exercise make us great assets to your physical goals with programs tailored to your unique needs. We take into account your current condition, work schedule, symptoms, and past experiences. Our programs often begin with stretches and exercises that are slightly easier than what you can complete, and as you continue, the difficulty is increased. We strive to provide the knowledge and confidence for our clients to be independent.
Active therapy is as much of a teaching experience as it is a productive recovery session. It arms you with an approach as well as exercise strategies needed to get back to work, play, and everything else you enjoy in your life.
