Restore Movement. Relieve Pain. Reclaim Your Life.
Pain has a way of changing how we move. Whether it's a recent injury, persistent discomfort, or the effects of surgery, pain can limit your ability to work, exercise, enjoy your hobbies, and participate fully in everyday life.
At Vector Wellness, physiotherapy is about more than treating symptoms. We focus on identifying the underlying cause of your pain, restoring healthy movement, and helping you build the strength and confidence to return to the activities that matter most.
Our approach combines comprehensive assessment, evidence-informed treatment, and active rehabilitation to create a recovery plan that's as unique as you are.
What Is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession dedicated to restoring movement, improving function, and reducing pain after injury, illness, or surgery.
Rather than focusing solely on where you hurt, physiotherapy looks at how your body moves as a whole. By understanding the factors contributing to your symptoms, we can develop a personalized treatment plan that supports both your immediate recovery and your long-term health.
At Vector Wellness, we believe lasting results come from treating the cause, not simply managing the symptoms.
Who Can Benefit from Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy can help people of all ages and activity levels, whether you're recovering from an injury or looking to move more comfortably in everyday life.
Common reasons people seek physiotherapy include:
-
Back and neck pain
-
Shoulder, hip, and knee injuries
-
Sports injuries
-
Tendon and muscle injuries
-
Arthritis and joint pain
-
Post-surgical rehabilitation
-
Workplace injuries
-
Balance and mobility concerns
-
Chronic pain conditions
Whether your goal is to return to sport, recover after surgery, perform your job comfortably, or simply enjoy daily activities without pain, physiotherapy can help you move forward with confidence.

TURN YOUR SOUND ON
If you have suffered a sports injury, our therapy treatment is more than injury treatment and rehabilitation - it’s about prevention too.
Our Approach
Every recovery begins with understanding your story.
Your physiotherapist will complete a comprehensive assessment to evaluate your symptoms, movement patterns, strength, mobility, and functional limitations. We don't just ask where it hurts, we work to understand why. From there, we develop an individualized treatment plan that evolves as you recover.
Our care is guided by four principles:
Understand the Root Cause
We identify the factors contributing to your pain or movement limitations so treatment addresses more than just the symptoms.
Restore Healthy Movement
Using hands-on treatment, movement retraining, and individualized exercise, we help restore mobility, coordination, and efficient movement patterns.
Build Strength and Resilience
Recovery doesn't end when pain decreases. We progressively rebuild strength, stability, endurance, and confidence so your body is prepared for the demands of work, recreation, and sport.
Empower Long-Term Success
Education is a key part of every treatment plan. We provide the knowledge and strategies you need to manage your condition, prevent future injuries, and stay active long after formal treatment has ended.
Your Treatment May Include
Every treatment plan is personalized based on your condition, goals, and stage of recovery.
Your physiotherapist may recommend a combination of:
-
Manual therapy
-
Active Therapy and therapeutic exercise
-
Movement retraining
-
Joint mobilization
-
Soft tissue techniques
-
Dry needling
-
Shockwave therapy
-
Therapeutic taping
-
Balance and functional training
-
Postural education
-
Home exercise programs
When appropriate, additional therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation or ultrasound may be used to support pain management and tissue healing. These treatments are never the focus of care, they are used to complement an active rehabilitation program when they provide meaningful benefit.

Electrotherapies
TENS
A transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulator (TENS) sends electrical pulses through the skin to start your body's painkillers. The electrical pulses can release endorphins and other substances to stop pain signals in the brain. A TENS unit can also reduce swelling and increase circulation, which may also enhance tissue healing and inflammation control.
IFT
Interferential therapy (IFT) is a non-invasive treatment that uses low-frequency electrical currents to relieve pain and promote healing. Two electrical currents of different frequencies pass through the skin. The currents interact with nerves and tissue to create a third frequency, called an interferential current. This current blocks pain signals from reaching the brain. It can be used for pain relief, muscle stimulation, increased blood flow, reduced swelling, and tissue repair.
MICRO
Micro-stimulation is a technique that uses electrical currents to stimulate neurons. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions. A microelectrode array is used to pass a small electrical current through a small group of neurons, the electrical current excites neural elements. It can be used to improve leg locomotion, muscle strength, preventing muscle atrophy, improving range of motion around a joint, and reducing muscle spasticity and spasms.
EMS
Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a type of electrotherapy that stimulates a muscle contraction using electrical impulses to strengthen weak muscles, reduce swelling, relieve pain, and help heal wounds. Joint-friendly: Low-impact and suitable for those with joint issues or injuries. Improves muscle tone and definition: EMS activates deep muscle fibers, leading to increased muscle tone and strength.
